The Google Sandbox Effect (or simply Google Sandbox) is a name that was given by different people to describe a “probationary” period that Google gives web sites before the pages are ranking in the search engine. There has always been a huge debate about the existence of the Google Sandbox because of the fact that Google never confirmed its existence. All is basically sustained by webmasters that claim their sites will never start ranking immediately and that this happens because of this Sandbox effect.
The truth is that we will never know whether or not the Google Sandbox effect exists or not. Now in the event that it is true, all that we can actually do is to focus on what we do anyway and never stop anything. We see a lot of webmasters that will simply not post anything on their sites because of this factor. This is just a waste of time. Here is what we recommend that you do:
- Post Content Daily or at least once per week
- Interlink all the pages of your site
- Focus on gaining quality backlinks from the minute the site is launched. Try to get the links to more than just your site’s main page and do not overdue it at the beginning. Google does like to see a site grow gradually because this is considered to be normal.
- Make sure that you create quality content so that others might also link to your pages. This would basically mean more links to your sites.
- If you use article directories, do not post duplicate content on them as this would just be a waste of time. It would be much better to use spinned articles or services like Build My Rank.
- Focus on Long Tail Keywords while also making sure that the main keywords are never neglected.
